Monster Eyeball Cookies

Keep your eyes peeled for these monster cookie treats.

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup butter, softened

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1 egg

1 8 oz. cream cheese bar, softened

1 box white cake mix

Food coloring: bright pink, green, and yellow

Powdered sugar

Chocolate covered candy

DIRECTIONS

1.Beat butter, vanilla, egg, and cream cheese until light and fluffy. Mix in cake mix. Place half of the batter into a separate bowl. Tint one bowl of batter bright pink. Add green and yellow food coloring to the batter in the second bowl. Mix both until completely blended. Chill batters for 30 minutes.

2.Line cookie sheet with parchment paper. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

3.Roll cookie dough into loose balls and dip into powdered sugar.

4.Place on cookie sheet about 2 inches apart and pat down a bit. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.; add candy.
