Classic Sourdough Cake Doughnuts

Always a winner – Classic Sourdough Cake Doughnuts

YOU’LL NEED

Mega Doughnut Pan
Strawberry Doughnut Glaze
Vanilla Doughnut Glaze
Chocolate Doughnut Glaze
Colored Powdered Sugar
Rainbow Sprinkles
Toasted Coconut
Vegetable Pan Spray2 3/4 cups all purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 1/2 cups sour cream
3 eggs
3 tablespoons butter, melted

DIRECTIONS

1.Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray Mega Doughnut Pan with vegetable pan spray.

2.In large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, baking soda and nutmeg.

3.In medium bowl, whisk together sour cream, eggs and butter.

4.Add sour cream mixture to flour mixture; stir until just combined. Fill each donut cup approximately 2/3 full.

5.Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until tops of doughnuts spring back when touched. Allow to cool in pan on cooling grid 5 minutes. Remove from pan.

6.Finish doughnuts with chocolate or vanilla glaze, or your favorite toppings.

Doughnuts are best served fresh.
