Brownie Batter Truffles – Yum Yum!

INGREDIENTS

1 container (15 ounces) NESTLE TOLL HOUSE Edible Fudge Brownie Batter
2 cups (12 ounce package) NESTLE TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels or Premier White Morsels
1 tablespoon vegetable shortening

DIRECTIONS

1.Scoop brownie batter into balls on parchment-lined baking sheet. Place sheet into the freezer for at least 30 minutes or until balls are firm.

2.Combine morsels and shortening in a heat-proof bowl. Place bowl over a small pot of lightly simmering water to create a double boiler. Being careful of the steam, stir the mixture to melt the morsels completely. Turn off heat; let chocolate mixture remain in bowl on top of pot.

3.Remove balls from the freezer. Using 2 forks or chocolate dipping utensils, dip the dough balls one at a time into the melted chocolate. Coat completely. Tap the fork on the edge of the bowl to remove excess chocolate. Place balls back on to parchment and place in the refrigerator 10 to 15 minutes to firm. Store truffles in refrigerator.
