Spooktacular Halloween Sugar Cookies

 These spooktacular cookies are spectacular! 

YOU’LL NEED
Cookie cutters

Baking tray

Sugar cookie recipe of choice

Royal icing

Food gel

Pastry Brush

Piping Bag

Mixing bowl

Wisk

Parchment paper

Spatula

Toothpicks (optional)

DIRECTIONS
1.Make dough a day ahead. Be sure not to over-cream the butter.

2.Roll out dough to 1/4” thickness. Roll between parchment paper for less mess.

3.Cut out dough with cookie cutter shape desired.

4.Bake cookies according to recipe instructions. Let cool.

Place cookies back in fridge.

Make royal icing.
1.Remove cut cookies from the fridge.

2.Dye royal icing desired color for desire and pipe cookie outline.

3.Fill in design in desired colors for completed look.

4.Use a spatula or toothpick to spread out icing as needed.
