Speedy Spider Pumpkin Muffins

Makes 24 cupcakes

Dress up your Halloween meal when you make these Speedy Spider Pumpkin Muffins…great to start your Halloween day.

INGREDIENTS

FOR MUFFINS

1 box PILLSBURY Pumpkin Quick Bread & Muffin Mix

1/3 cup oil

2 eggs

1/2 cup mini chocolate chips

FOR FROSTING

1 tub PILLSBURY Creamy Supreme Cream Cheese Flavored Frosting, divided into 2 bowls

FOR SPIDER DECORATIONS

24 brown round chocolate candies

24 round malted milk ball candies

1 bag thin pretzel sticks for the spider legs

DIRECTIONS

1.FOR THE MUFFINS: Set oven to 400 degrees. Line pan with cupcake liners.

2.In a bowl, beat quick bread and muffin mix, milk, oil, and eggs per package instructions.

3.Once ingredients are combined, mix in mini chocolate chips until incorporated evenly throughout.

4.Pour batter into cupcake pan.

5.Bake muffins for 15 to 20 minutes per package instructions.

6.FOR THE ORANGE FROSTING: In a bowl, tint 1/2 container frosting with 3 drops orange food coloring and stir until combined.

7.Place orange dyed frosting in piping bag or plastic bag with corner tip cut, frost tops of cupcakes with a swirl.

8.FOR THE SPIDER DECORATIONS: Place undyed frosting in a piping bag or plastic bag with corner tip cut, pipe spider webs on top of orange swirls.

9.Gently place 1 round chocolate candy and 1 malted milk ball candy for the spider’s body and head.

10.Take 4 pretzel sticks and break in half.

11.Place broken pretzel sticks in a triangle form around the candies to create spider legs.
