Peanut Butter Brownie Trifle

Makes 24 servings

Trifles are a great dessert to ensure you get every single bite of every delicious ingredient. This recipe does just that and is a great treat for all peanut butter and chocolate lovers celebrating the New Year!

INGREDIENTS

1 package PILLSBURY Family Size Chocolate Fudge Brownie Mix

Additional ingredients to prepare brownie mix per package instructions

1 (8 oz.) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

2 bananas, sliced

1 container PILLSBURY Peanut Butter Frosting

1/4 cup chopped cocktail peanuts or other garnish

DIRECTIONS

1.Prepare brownie mix according to package instructions using oil, water, and eggs, baking in 13” x 9”. Cool completely.

2.Cut brownies into 48 (1 1/2-inch) squares. Layer 1/3 of brownies in bottom of 2-quart trifle dish or glass bowl. Top with 2 cups whipped topping, dropping by small spoonfuls. Arrange half of banana slices over whipped topping.

3.Top with half of remaining brownies and then peanut butter frosting, dropping frosting by small spoonfuls. Arrange remaining banana slices over frosting.

4.Top with remaining brownies. Spread remaining whipped topping on top of trifle. Sprinkle with peanuts. Chill until ready to serve.
