FUNFETTI Cookie Dough Cereal Treats

A fun spin on marshmallow treats, these FUNFETTI Cookie Dough Cereal Treats make are great for parties…fun for the kiddos to make and eat.

INGREDIENTS

3 cups mini marshmallows

1 tablespoon unsalted butter

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 cups puffed rice cereal

1 container (15 ounces) NESTLE TOLL HOUSE FUNFETTI Edible Cookie Dough

1 cup NESTLE TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels

DIRECTIONS

1.Line an 8-inch-square baking pan with foil. Spray foil with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.

2.Melt marshmallows, butter, salt and vanilla extract in a heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium-low heat. Once marshmallows are completely melted, remove from heat and stir in the rice cereal.

3.Press half of the cereal mixture onto the bottom of the prepared pan. Be cautious, as this mixture will be hot. Be sure to press firmly so that there are no gaps. Scoop all of the cookie dough onto the cereal base and press firmly to make one even layer of dough. Top dough layer with remaining cereal mixture and press firmly. Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set.

4.Melt chocolate morsels according to package instructions. Set aside.

5.Cut bars into squares and dip them in the chocolate or drizzle chocolate over the tops of the squares. Refrigerate to set the chocolate before serving.
