Eyeball Monster Cookies

Makes 30 to 36 cookies

Eyeball these cookies for your next treat!

INGREDIENTS

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

2/3 cup NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Baking Cocoa

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened

3/4 cup granulated sugar

2/3 cup packed light brown sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet Chocolate Mini Morsels

1 cup decorative candy eyeballs

DIRECTIONS

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Set aside 2 ungreased baking sheets.

2.Combine flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar and brown sugar in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla extract, beating well. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in mini morsels. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon measurer, scoop dough into balls and place on baking sheets.

3.Place candy eyeballs decoratively on tops of cookies.

4.Bake for 9 to 11 minutes, or until centers are set. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.
