Makes 12 (1/2-cup) servings

If you love eating all the leftover batter off the beaters when baking, you, go wild with this eggless, edible cake batter, made with crushed vanilla wafers instead of flour…it tastes just like birthday cake! Top it off by stirring in sprinkles for fun color and texture before digging into this cool and creamy treat.

INGREDIENTS

1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened

2/3 cup butter, softened

1 tablespoon MCCORMICK Cake Batter Flavor

1/4 teaspoon salt

1 1/3 cups confectioners’ sugar

2/3 cup granulated sugar

1 container (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping , thawed

1 1/2 cups finely crushed vanilla wafer crumbs

1/2 cup sprinkles

DIRECTIONS

1.Beat cream cheese and butter in a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed, until light and fluffy. Add Cake Batter Flavor and salt. Beat in sugars until smooth. Gently stir in whipped topping. Add wafer crumbs and sprinkles; stir to combine.

2.Store in freezer until ready to serve. Top with additional sprinkles before serving, if desired.

TIPS

Serve from the freezer in ice cream cones for a faux ice cream treat, or store in the refrigerator to serve as a dip with mini pretzels or apple slices.

To make a cake batter milkshake, blend frozen batter with milk, until desired consistency is reached.
