New Year’s Banner – Cricut

If you love using a CRICUT MAKER, then you’ll have fun making this New Year’s Banner. If you’re new to using one, then this would be a great project to start with…you’ll be able to use it for more holiday fun all year.

YOU’LL NEED

CRICUT MAKER

CRICUT LightGrip 12″x 12″ mat

CRICUT single scoring wheel or scoring stylus

Black glitter cardstock

Gold glitter cardstock

Adhesive foam dots

Adhesive for paper

Twine

DIRECTIONS

1.CLICK HERE for the CRICUT DESIGN SPACE LINK to complete this project.

NOTE: This project makes letters for a banner that are approximately 3” x 4.5″. You can customize your project size by clicking customize button in the bottom right of the project screen. Hit Make It to make the project as is.

CUT

2.Add your black paper to the mat.

3.For Explore Family – Insert the scoring stylus

4.For Maker – Insert the scoring wheel when prompted

5.Change machine setting to Cardstock.

6.Follow the prompts in DESIGN SPACE to cut the images from cardstock.

7.When the green CRICUT light flashes, press to start.

8.After, the black paper, add gold glitter and then cut.

ASSEMBLY

9.Fold black pennant in half around twine.

10.Adhere gold pennant to black pennant.

11.Adhere black letter to center of gold pennant.
