This Mini Winter Diorama is a fun afternoon wintery project.

YOU’LL NEED

Small box or Box Template (CLICK HERE FOR BOX TEMPLATE)

Cardstock for Box Template

Creatology Soft Clay Packs

Creatology Taklon Bristle Paintbrushes

Craft Smart paint, assorted colors

Elmer’s No-Run School Glue

Construction Paper

Creatology Markers

DIRECTIONS

1.First, if your box has a top, remove and discard. You will only need the deeper bottom of the box.

TIP: CLICK HERE to download and print a box template if you don’t have a box, then cut along the straight lines. Trace onto cardstock (or desired paper surface). Cut out and follow the template to fold along the dotted lines. Glue the flaps to the top and bottom for a mini diorama box.

2.Determine what your scene will be, then paint the background inside the box. Set aside to dry.

3.Using soft air-dry clay, form figures and shapes as desired to complete your winter scene. Place them inside the box. If you’d like, glue them in place after they have dried. TIP: Paint or decorate the outside of your box using paints, markers, construction paper and other craft items.
