Makes 1 bundt cake
This cake is festive and fun with the addition of Oreo cookies.
INGREDIENTS
1 box PILLSBURY FUNFETTI Oreo Cake Mix
Ingredients to make cake
1 can PILLSBURY VANILLA FUNFETTI Oreo Vanilla Frosting
Additional Oreo cookies for decorating (optional)
DIRECTIONS
1.Heat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 10 inch bundt pan with nonstick spray.
2.Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Pour into pan and bake for 34 to 38 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
3.Cool in pan on cooling rack for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely.
4.Place cooled cake on a cardboard cake circle and place on cooling rack with a cookie sheet underneath.
5.Pour frosting into a small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 30 to 45 seconds, stirring every 10 seconds until it is loose and smooth. Pour over cake to cover sides completely. Top with crushed cookie pieces and additional Oreo cookies, if desired.
6.Refrigerate for at least 10 to 15 minutes. Run a knife underneath the cardboard to loosen excess icing and transfer to serving plate.
