Witch Hat Cupcakes

Makes 24 cupcakes

 

Something spooktacular is brewing…it’s some scary and sweet Witch Hat Cupcakes!

INGREDIENTS

1 box PILLSBURY FUNFETTI Slime Cake Mix

Additional ingredients to prepare cake mix per box directions

1 tub PILLSBURY FUNFETTI Midnight Black Frosting

1 package OREO Halloween Chocolate Sandwich Cookies

Orange candy melts

Chocolate candies

Piping bag

Piping tip #2A

 

DIRECTIONS

1.Prepare cake mix according to package instructions using water, oil, and eggs to make 24 cupcakes. Cool completely.

2.Melt orange candy melts in a medium bowl in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds until melted. Unwrap chocolate candies. Dip each chocolate candy into the orange candy melt and let dry on wax paper or parchment paper. 

3.Spoon frosting into a piping bag fitted with open tip #2A. Pipe frosting onto each cupcake by placing in the middle and applying slight pressure to the piping bag. 

4.Top each cupcake with an OREO Halloween Chocolate Sandwich Cookie. Pipe another small dollop of frosting on top and add the dipped chocolate candy to add the top of the “hat”. Top with sprinkles from frosting lid.
