DIRECTIONS
.CLICK HERE to download and print template. Cut out shapes.
.Pour out a generous amount of Desert Sky paint onto a paper plate (or palette paper). Paint the entire canvas Desert Sky. Let dry.
.Paint blue around the edges, toward the center, blending with the Desert Sky paint. Let dry.
.Trace and cut out the snowman shape from the white sticky-back foam. Adhere to the canvas, lining up the bottom of the snowman with the bottom of the canvas.
.Trace and cut out the scarf from red sticky-back foam and adhere it to the snowman’s neck.
.Trace and cut out the carrot nose from orange sticky-back foam and adhere it to the snowman’s head, about a third of the way down from the top of his head.
.Paint stripes onto the scarf using blue paint. Let dry.
.Using the eraser end of the pencil, dip it into black paint and create a smile under the carrot nose. Dip the eraser into the paint, then press onto the face and lift off. Let dry.
.Clean off the eraser and repeat this technique to make snowflakes, by dipping it into white paint, then pressing it onto the canvas and lifting off. Let dry.
