Makes 8 to 4 pancakes

Put some love in your pancakes



1 ¾ cups MARTHA WHITE Bleached Self-Rising Flour
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 cup milk
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
2/3 cup raspberries (fresh or frozen)
1 to 2 drops red food coloring, optional
Butter and maple syrup (or whipped cream and fresh berries) for serving



1.Heat a lightly greased griddle.

2.Whisk together the MARTHA WHITE Self-Rising Flour and sugar in a medium mixing bowl.

3.Whisk the eggs, milk, and oil in a measuring cup. Add egg mixture to the flour mixture and stir until just blended and still lumpy.

4.Fold in the pureed raspberries until the batter turns pink. (For a deeper color, add a drop or two of red food coloring, if desired.)

5.Using a ladle or a large spoon, add about 1/4 cup batter onto the hot griddle in heart shapes. Cook pancakes till lightly golden, turning once. Serve hot with butter and maple syrup.
