Made with moist, sweet DUNCAN HINES Strawberry Supreme cake and creamy vanilla frosting, the added fresh, ripe berries, makes this the perfect summer treat for small or large gatherings.
INGREDIENTS
PAM Baking Spray
1 pkg (15.25 oz each) DUNCAN HINES Signature Strawberry Supreme Cake Mix
1 cup water
3 eggs
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 container (16 oz each) DUNCAN HINES Classic Vanilla Creamy Home-Style Frosting
1 1/2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
1/2 cup fresh raspberries, sliced
DIRECTIONS
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 9 x13-inch pan with baking spray.
2.Beat strawberry cake mix, water, eggs, and oil in a large bowl with an electric mixer on low speed for 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed 2 minutes.
3.Pour sheet cake batter into pan; spread evenly. Bake 23 to 28 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean. Cool completely on wire rack.
4.If desired, overturn cake onto serving platter or large plate. Spread vanilla frosting evenly over top of strawberry sheet cake. Add sliced strawberries and raspberries. Slice, serve and enjoy!
