Makes 4 cups nacho topping

Whether you’re feeding the family or entertaining a crowd, this sweet and savory REESE’S Game Day Nachos recipe is sure to steal the spotlight.

 

INGREDIENTS

4 strips of bacon

1 medium onion, diced

1 small jalapeno pepper, seeded and diced

1 pound ground beef

1 teaspoon ground chipotle chili powder

1/2 cup barbeque sauce

4 REESE’S Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups (regular or snack size) Tortilla chips

Cheddar cheese, shredded

Additional REESE’S Milk Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups, chopped into pieces (optional)

Additional jalapeno pepper, sliced thinly (optional)

 

DIRECTIONS

1.Cook bacon until crispy. Drain; chop into small pieces.

2.Add about 1 teaspoon fat from bacon to medium frying pan. Add bacon pieces, onion, and jalapeno pieces. Cook over medium heat several minutes or until onion is translucent. Add ground beef. Continue cooking until no longer pink. Drain excess fat. Stir in chipotle powder and barbecue sauce. Heat and stir until mixture is well blended and hot.

3.Remove wrappers from peanut butter cups and chop into small pieces. Add to meat mixture, stirring until cups are melted and mixture is blended.

4.Serve mixture with or over tortilla chips. Top with shredded cheese. Add additional chopped peanut butter cups and jalapeno slices, if desired. Makes about 4 cups nacho topping.
