This FUNFETTI Dinosaur Pull-Apart Cupcake Cake will be the hit of the party…super cute, bright colors, and the perfect sweet treat.
INGREDIENTS
1 box PILLSBURY FUNFETTI Premium Cake and Cupcake Mix
Additional ingredients to prepare cake mix per box directions
2 tubs PILLSBURY FUNFETTI Dinosaur Vanilla Frosting
Green, yellow and black food coloring
Jumbo candy eye
Piping bags
Piping tips #2A and #12
DIRECTIONS
1.Prepare cake mix according to box instructions using water, oil, and eggs to make 24 cupcakes. Cool completely.
2.Tint one frosting tub green to create the “dino”. Tint 1/4 of another frosting tub yellow. Tint 1/4 of another frosting black. Spoon the yellow frosting into a piping bag fitted with an open piping tip #2A. Spoon the black frosting into a piping bag fitted a small writing piping tip #12.
3.Place cupcakes onto a serving plate or cutting board in the shape of a dinosaur. Frost the top of the cupcakes with green frosting. Pipe 3 small “toes” on each foot with the yellow frosting.
4.Pipe a small smile with the black frosting onto the “dino’s” head. Add a candy eyeball. Top with sprinkles from frosting lid.
