Makes 2 dozen cones
These cupcake cones are super fun to serve at any birthday party. Make sure to scoop up some extra frozen ice cream to serve on the side.
INGREDIENTS
1 package PILLSBURY FUNFETTI Premium Cake Mix
Additional ingredients to prepare cake mix per package directions
24 ice cream cake cones (about 2 3/4-inches tall with flat bottoms)
2 containers PILLSBURY FUNFETTI Chocolate Fudge Flavored Frosting
DIRECTIONS
1.Heat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Spoon a scant 3 tablespoons batter into each cone. (Do not overfill.) Stand cones upright in muffin cups.
2.Bake 25 to 28 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center comes out clean. Cool completely on wire rack.
3.Place frosting in decorating bag fitted with medium star tip. Pipe a decorative swirl of frosting on top of each cupcake cone, beginning at outside edge and working up. Sprinkle with candy bits from frosting.
