Cranberry Bread

Whole-berry cranberry sauce gives this bread a moist and flavorful taste…perfect to celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends.

INGREDIENTS

1 1/2 cups ARROWHEAD MILLS Stoneground Whole Wheat Flour

1/2 cup ARROWHEAD MILLS Unbleached White Flour

2/3 cups organic sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1 large egg

1 can (16-ounce) whole-berry cranberry sauce

1 cup chopped walnuts

 

DIRECTIONS

1.Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

2.Coat a loaf pan with cooking spray.

3.In a large bowl, combine the flours, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and baking soda. Add the egg, cranberry sauce, and walnuts, and mix just until moistened (mixture will be dry and take effort to mix). Pour into the prepared pan.

4.Bake for 1 hour, or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes in the pan.

5.Remove to a rack, and cool completely.
