Makes 12 servings

Impress your guests by being sporty! Make this delectable racetrack sheet cake using BETTY CROCKER Super Moist yellow cake mix and frosting – dessert decorated by candies and chocolate cars.

1 box BETTY CROCKER Super Moist butter recipe yellow cake mix

Water, butter and eggs called for on cake mix box

2 containers BETTY CROCKER Rich & Creamy vanilla frosting

1/4 teaspoon black gel food color

Black sanding sugar

14 teaspoon green gel food color

Red, orange, blue, and yellow candy-coated chocolate candies

3 yellow chewy fruit-flavored candies, unwrapped, cut in half lengthwise

3 foil-wrapped chocolate cars

1.Heat oven to 350 degrees Generously spray 13” x 9” pan with cooking spray.

2.Make cake mix as directed on box, using water, butter, and eggs. Pour batter into pan. Bake and cool as directed for 13” x 9” pan.

3.Run knife around side of pan to loosen cake; remove cake from pan to serving plate or tray. In small bowl, mix 1 cup of the frosting and the black food color. On top of cake, spread black frosting in oval shape to look like racetrack. Sprinkle with sanding sugar.

4.In medium bowl, mix remaining frosting and green food color. Spoon frosting into decorating bag fitted with large star tip (or grass tip #233). Pipe frosting on sides of cake and on top of cake around track to look like grass. Pipe “grassy area” in center of track. Outline border of track with chocolate candies. Arrange fruit-flavored candies and cars on track.
