DIRECTIONS

.Cut out a half circle of the size you want your rainbow to be from a piece of poster board.

.Cut strips of poster board 3/4“ wide and as long as the sheet of poster board. You will need at least eight strips, possibly more, depending upon how large you want your rainbow.

.ADULT: Use hot glue to attach strips of the poster board all the way around the outside of the rainbow. The strip should be standing upright with the glue along the bottom edge. Repeat this every ¾” [1.9 cm] to make rows for each section of pom-poms in your rainbow. TIP: The rainbow shown has seven rows: red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, dark blue and purple.

.Now, glue pom-poms into each row. TIP: Instead of gluing the pom-poms to the rainbow, let your kids fill and empty each row as a fun activity.

.Draw a cloud shape on a piece of poster board and cut out. Complete the cloud as you did the rainbow.

.Make the flower petals with chenille pipe cleaner loops. Twist the end to secure.

.Thread a chenille pipe cleaner for the stem through the middle of the flower and twist to secure.

.To make leaves, twist a chenille pipe cleaner onto the stem, then make a loop, twist around the stem again, then another loop opposite the first loop and twist the remaining pipe cleaner into place.
