This festive pom pom wreath is fun to make using the Clover Pom Pom Maker set. Perfect on the front door or on the fireplace mantel.

YOU’LL NEED

Orange yarn

Foam floral wreath

LOOPS AND THREADS Straight Scissors

CLOVER Pom Pom Maker Set, for small and large pom poms (available at michaels.com)

Green yarn

Chenille pipe cleaners, 25 ct. by CREATOLOGY, assorted green

Low Temp Mini Glue Gun by CRAFT SMART (adult supervision)

All-Purpose Glue Sticks by ARTMINDS

DIRECTIONS

1.To begin, tie the end of the orange yarn once around the wreath. Wrap the yarn over and over around the wreath, all the way around, until the wreath is completely covered in yarn. Tie around the wreath once more to secure the end of the yarn, and trim away any excess.

2.Using the Clover Pom Pom Maker Set, follow packaging instructions to begin making pom poms out of orange yarn. You will need to make about 12 to 14 pom poms total to cover the wreath. Tie them one at a time onto the wrapped wreath, so that they cover it all the way around. Use the image as a guide.

3.With the smaller of the two pom pom makers, make two pom poms out of light green yarn. Tie them onto the top of the wreath, for the stem.

4.Add two or three chenille stems, wrapping them around the wreath and then curling the ends around your finger.

TIP: If you prefer, you can secure your ends and the pom poms with hot glue.
