DIRECTIONS

.Tape off 1/3 of mat and paint Wicker White. Allow to dry.

.Transfer the maple leaf pattern to stencil blank with black marker and cut out with craft knife.

.Mix Dafodil Yellow with Engine Red to make an orange. Stencil the maple leaf as shown in photo with orange mixture.

.Trace the letters from ” PLEASE DON’T” from the stencil pack onto the scrap paper. Cut out each letter and line them up as shown in photo. Tape each piece of paper at the top to hold it in place.

.Starting with the letter “P” from “PLEASE”,  lay the stencil for the “P” on top of the “P” that was traced on the paper. Hold the stencil down without moving it and remove the paper from underneath. Stencil the “P” in Licorice.  Repeat the same step for each letter. Make sure to leave a space between the “N” and the “T” for the apostrophe. It will be cut out of stencil blank.

.Determine size needed and printout maple leaf and apostrophe. Transfer “leaf” and apostrophe from printout on to the stencil blank with the black marker. Cut out with craft knife.

.Stencil “leaf” with Licorice.
