Add some mint to your holiday season with this Mint Hot Cocoa from NESTLE. The perfect warm-up after a chilly day outside building a snowman.
INGREDIENTS
1 can (12 fluid ounces) NESTLE CARNATION Evaporated Milk
1 cup water
3/4 cup NESTLE TOLL HOUSE Dark Chocolate Morsels
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
Whipped cream (optional)
Crushed peppermint candies (optional)
DIRECTIONS
1.Combine evaporated milk, water and morsels in medium saucepan and warm over medium-high heat. Cook over medium-high heat, stirring frequently, until morsels are melted and the mixture is steaming. Remove from heat. Stir in peppermint extract.
2.Whisk cocoa mixture until slightly frothy, then divide among 3 mugs. Top each with whipped cream and a sprinkling of crushed peppermint candies, if desired.
