Makes 42 cookies

These cookies have the holiday season written all over them. Full of rich HERSHEY’S SPECIAL DARK Chocolate Chips and chewy dried cherries, they’re a warm and bright dessert. Bring them to a cookie exchange or Christmas party for an instant hit.

 

INGREDIENTS
2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter (2 sticks), softened
1 cup brown sugar
3/4 cup white granulated sugar
1  1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 eggs (large)
1/2 cup HERSHEY’S SPECIAL DARK Mildly Sweet Chocolate Chips
1/2 cup HEATH BITS O’ BRICKLE Toffee Bits
1 cup dried dark cherries

 

DIRECTIONS
1.Heat oven to 350 degrees. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.

2.Sift flour, baking soda and salt in medium bowl.

3.Beat butter, both sugars and vanilla extract in a large mixer bowl until light and fluffy.

4.Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each egg.

5.Gradually beat flour mixture into the sugar mixture until combined.

6.Fold in chocolate chips, toffee bits and dried cherries until evenly distributed.

7.Drop a tablespoon of dough onto lined cookie sheet. (Small ice cream scoop will give the perfect size),

8.Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until the edges of cookies are golden brown.

9.Transfer to a cooling rack and cool completely.
