Melted Ice Cream Cake

Makes 12 servings

 

This Melted Ice Cream Cake will be perfect with your favorite scoop of ice cream.

INGREDIENTS

1 box PILLSBURY FUNFETTI Premium Cake Mix

3 eggs

2 cups melted ice cream, measured while melted and at room temperature

1 tub PILLSBURY FUNFETTI Confetti Vanilla Flavored Frosting 

1 tub PILLSBURY FUNFETTI Radiant Red Vanilla Frosting

Ice cream cone

 

DIRECTIONS

1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Stir together cake mix with 3 eggs and 2 cups of room temperature melted ice cream until well blended. Pour batter into a prepared 9 x 5-inch loaf pan. Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Tent cake with foil halfway through baking, if desired, to prevent excess browning on top. Let cool completely.

2.Invert cake and frost all sides with FUNFETTI Radiant Red Vanilla Frosting. Add a “spill” of vanilla frosting on top of the red. Scoop frosting into ice cream cone, then cover in sprinkles from frosting lid. Invert ice cream cone onto middle of the cake. Decorate with remaining sprinkles.
