YOU’LL NEED

CREATOLOGY Multicolor Marabou Feathers

CREATOLOGY Assorted Wiggle Eyes

RECOLLECTIONS Chipboard Sheet, 12” x 12”

Craft Sticks

Ruler

Pencil

School Glue

Foam Sheets: Orange, Yellow

Craft Paint: (colors) Dandelion, Light Green, Crisp Blue

DIRECTIONS

1.Cut a 2 1/2” x 2/1/2” piece of chipboard. Lay it flat on your work surface and cover it with glue.

2.Lay seven craft sticks, side-by-side, across the chipboard. Make sure to line up the bottoms of the sticks so they are straight. Let dry.

3.Glue another craft stick to the back, extending from the bottom.

TIP: Use image as a guide.

4.Paint the craft sticks with either Dandelion, Light Green, or Crisp Blue paint. Let dry.

5.Glue feathers to the back, on either side, for the wings of the bird, so they can be seen from the front.

TIP: You can eliminate the feathers and cut wing shapes from foam. Glue in place on the front of the bird.

6.Glue a feather, or feathers, to the back center craft stick, so it can be seen over the top of the bird.

TIP: You can eliminate the feathers and cut a foam shape instead. Glue in place on the back of the bird.

7.Glue a pair of wiggle eyes in place. Let dry.

8.Cut out foam shapes to decorate your bird, such a s a triangle for the beak, and half ovals for the feet.
