Live Music from the North Pole!
Charcuterie boards have always been a mainstay at parties and celebrations. But with their popularity soaring, it’s not just about what’s on the board, but the presentation on the plate. This holiday season, we have some fun ways for you to WOW your party guest while serving up some tasty snacks.

MAKE CHEESE THE STAR

Place cheese around the edge of the tray. This is a great way to add a unique look and really showcase the individual cheeses, so they don’t all blend in or get lost in the center. Continue to decorate the remaining edge with fruits, veggies, and meats, while placing bowls of olives or nuts in the center.

LIGHT SNACKS ARE SWEET

Go ahead and put together a sweet charcuterie board filled with light snacks. Chocolate covered pretzels, cinnamon-coated almonds, and fresh fruit make great choices. For breads and crackers, be sure to include a few fruity spreads (like blackberry or cinnamon-apple) to spread some holiday cheer.

CHRISTMAS PANCAKES

We love this idea for a family Christmas pancake breakfast. Fill your board with smaller pancakes, fruit, bacon, and other favorite early morning snacks. Be sure to include a variety of syrups, which can be set to the side, or in mini-serving pitchers on the board.

FILL SOME BOWLS

Everything doesn’t have to be finger food on your charcuterie board. Include bowls of chicken salad, egg salad, or other dips and jams. Add in a variety of hearty crackers to the mix and even use a few to dress up the bowls. Complement the selection with  fruit, bite-size cheese, nuts, and other snacks. This is a great idea for a holiday brunch or luncheon.

BREAK IT UP

Everything doesn’t have to look perfect and fancy on your serving board. Break up larger holiday cookies, fruits, and chocolates into bite-size pieces. Include a sweet dip and spoon for guests to grab a dollop. Dress up the board with candy canes and other favorite holiday sweets.
