Can you find the Easter Bunny…he’s hopping right into the Hidden Bunny Easter Loaf Cake.
INGREDIENTS
1 box of PILLSBURY Moist Supreme White Cake Mix
1 box of PILLSBURY Moist Supreme Strawberry Cake Mix
Additional ingredients to prepare cake mix per box instructions (x2)
1 tub of PILLSBURY Creamy Supreme Vanilla Frosting
Bunny cookie cutter
Optional: pink food coloring
9”x5” loaf pan
Pink sanding sugar
DIRECTIONS
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare 1 box of Pillsbury Strawberry Cake Mix according to the box instructions. If desired, add pink food coloring for a vibrant effect.
2.Line a sheet pan with parchment paper and spread the pink batter evenly onto sheet pan. Bake until a toothpick stuck in center comes out clean, or approximately 9 to 11 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool completely. Invert cake onto a wire rack.
3.Cut bunny shapes from pink sheet cake using a cookie cutter and set aside. Enjoy the cake scraps for a chef’s snack!
4.Grease a 9”x5” loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray.
5.Prepare a box of PILLSBURY White Cake Mix, according to box instructions. Using the directions from the box using egg whites will yield a bright white cake. Spoon batter onto the bottom of the cake pan. Line the bunnies, in the center of the cake. Cover with remaining batter. Be sure not to over fill.
6.Bake for 45 to 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool completely.
7.Frost cooled cake with frosting using an offset spatula or a butter knife. Top with pink sanding sugar. Serve and enjoy!
