Makes 12 pops

S’mores gets the holiday treatment with these candy cane marshmallow pops. Instead of toasting over a campfire, cover marshmallows with melted HERSHEY’S Milk Chocolate Bars and sprinkle with candy cane crumbles. Insert a candy cane in the bottom, then serve. These pops make the perfect accompaniment to hot cocoa and a festive Christmas gift.

20 small candy canes, divided

2 HERSHEY’S Milk Chocolate Bars (1.55 oz. each)

1 teaspoon shortening (do not use butter, margarine, spread, or oil)

12 marshmallows

2 tablespoons graham cracker crumbs

1.Line tray or cookie sheet with wax paper. Remove wrappers from candy canes. Set aside 12 candy canes; crush remaining 8 candy canes into small pieces. Remove wrappers from chocolate bars; break into pieces.

2.Place chocolate and shortening in small microwave-safe bowl. Microwave at MEDIUM (50%) 1 minute; stir. If necessary, microwave at MEDIUM an additional 10 seconds; stir until chocolate is melted and smooth.

3.One at a time, dip about 1/2 of each marshmallow into melted chocolate; shake off excess chocolate. Immediately sprinkle chocolate portion with graham cracker crumbs and dip into crushed candy canes. Place uncoated side on prepared tray. Push candy cane through top of chocolate about halfway into marshmallow. Repeat procedure with remaining marshmallows. Allow chocolate to firm. Store in cool, dry place.
