Makes 30 cupcakes


These HERSHEY’S Organic Chocolate Bar Filled Chocolate Cupcakes are great for celebrating holidays, birthday parties, or just during some weekend family fun.


Organic Chocolate Bar Filling (recipe below)

3 cups organic all-purpose flour

2 cups organic sugar

2/3 cup HERSHEY’S Cocoa

2 tsps organic baking soda

1 teaspoon salt

2 cups water

2/3 cup organic vegetable oil

2 tablespoons organic white vinegar

2 teaspoons organic vanilla extract

3 HERSHEY’S Organic Miniatures Milk Chocolate Bars or HERSHEY’S SPECIAL DARK Organic Miniature Bars



1.Prepare Organic Chocolate Bar Filling (recipe below).

2.Heat oven to 350 degrees. Line muffin cups (2 1/2 inches in diameter) with paper bake cups.

3.Stir together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in large bowl. Add water, oil, vinegar, and vanilla; beat on medium speed of mixer 2 minutes. Fill muffin cups 2/3 full with batter. Spoon 1 level tablespoon Organic Chocolate Bar Filling into center of each cupcake.

4.Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in cake portion comes out clean. Remove from pan to wire rack. Cool completely. Top each cupcake with chocolate bar piece.




1 package organic cream cheese (8 oz), softened

1/3 cup organic sugar

1 egg

1/8 teaspoon salt

4 HERSHEY’S Organic Milk Chocolate Bar (1.55 oz each), or HERSHEY’S SPECIAL DARK Organic Chocolate Bar cut into 1/4-inch pieces



1.Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and salt in small bowl until smooth and creamy. Stir in chocolate bar pieces.


TIP: Any size HERSHEY’S Organic Milk Chocolate Bars may be used to make a total of about 6 ounces or about 1 cup chocolate pieces.
