This project is intended for kids ages 3+. Have fun this Halloween and make spooky or cute character windsocks. Hang them outside and watch them blow in the wind!

YOU’LL NEED

CREATOLOGY 9″ X 12″ Construction Paper, Assorted Colors

Pencil

20 Color Round Tip Washable Marker Set by CREATOLOGY

CREATOLOGY Assorted Wiggle Eyes

Jumbo ELMER’S Disappearing Purple School Glue Stick

ELMER’S Washable School Glue

Tape

Lacquered Curling Ribbon by CELEBRATE IT, black

DIRECTIONS

1.Take a piece of construction paper and find the middle. Make a light mark using a pencil. Use this mark as a guide when creating your face/character.

TIP: It is easier to build and draw before you roll it in a tube and when the paper is flat.

2.Use markers, wiggle eyes and construction paper to create your character; then use a glue stick to attach paper and school glue to attach wiggle eyes. Let dry.

3.When the glue is dry and the decorating is finished, roll the paper into a tube and secure it at the back with tape.

4.Cut 5-6 36″ [90 cm] lengths of curling ribbon.

5.ADULT: Curl the ribbon by running it along the edge of a scissors.

6.Tape the curled ribbon around the bottom of the character, on the inside of the tube.
