It’s a FUNFETTI Oversized Donut so everyone can have a piece.
FOR THE DONUTS
1 box PILLSBURY FUNFETTI Cake Donut Mix
FOR THE GLAZE
Glaze from PILLSBURY FUNFETTI Cake Donut Mix
2 to 3 tablespoons milk
*You’ll also need a giant donut cake pan and nonstick cooking spray
1.Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray nonstick donut pan with baking spray or lightly grease with oil. Set aside.
*Optional: Prepare a 8 x 10 inch cake pan filled with about 1/4″ of water for a water bath.
2.Combine wet ingredients: two eggs, milk, and water; set Aside. Sift the donut mix into a large bowl using a fine mesh strainer. Set sprinkles aside.
3.Slowly pour the wet ingredients into the sifted donut mix, while gently whisking to combine. Whisk until there are no clumps. Gently fold the sprinkles into the batter with a rubber spatula.
4.Pour batter evenly into large donut pan.
5.Place a kitchen towel down on the counter. Holding donut pan with two hands, bang it on the counter a few times to remove air bubbles from batter.
6.Put the water bath in the center of the top rack of the oven. Put the donut pan in the center of the middle rack of the oven.
7.Bake for 18 minutes. Rotate donut pan 180 degrees. Move the optional water bath to the bottom rack. BAKE for another 7 to 10 minutes or until slightly golden on top.
8.Remove cake from oven and place onto a cooling rack. Once cooled, flip onto rack and let it finish cooling.
9.Mix glaze packet included with donut mix with milk and stir until combined.
10.Glaze giant donut. Move donut to serving dish and enjoy!
