1.If needed, sand surface to remove any rough edges. Use a paper towel to wipe away any sanding dust.

2.Using a #12 flat brush, make all of the mixes ahead of time. Mix each color (Chartreuse, Chick, Coastal Waters, Lavender Fields, Orange Sherbet, Peach Silk, and Pink Cadillac) with about (4) parts Cotton Ball to turn them pastel.

3.Use the #12 flat brush and load with Peach Silk mixture to paint the inside of the crate. Rinse brush. Use same brush with Cotton Ball on the sides. Rinse brush. Use the same brush with Coastal Waters mixture to paint the first section. Rinse brush. Then use same brush with Pink Cadillac mixture for the second section. Rinse brush. Use the same brush the Lavender Fields mixture to paint the bottom section. Rinse brush. Then use the same brush with Chartreuse mixture to paint inside the handles. Rinse brush.

4.CLICK HERE to print template. Transfer template onto each side of the crate.

5.Paint the detailed stripes and shapes:

-Using the #5 flat brush, load with the Chick mixture. Paint on the chevron stripe on the side of the crate. Rinse brush.

-Use the #12 flat brush and load with the Lavender Fields mixture to paint the wavy section on the bottom of the crate. Rinse brush.

-Use the #1 round brush and load with the Pink Cadillac mixture to paint on the swirls. Rinse brush.

-Use the #1 round brush and load with Chartreuse mix to paint a wavy stripe on top of the wavy purple section. Rinse brush.

-Use the #1 round brush and load with the Shrimp mixture to paint small lines in the Chartreuse stripe previously painted on. Rinse brush.

6.To be sure the stripes line up evenly, apply painter’s tape as a guideline. Next, use the #1 round brush and load with Coastal Waters mixture to paint vertical stripes above the yellow chevron. Rinse brush. Then use painter’s tape to make a thick stripe. Use the #6 flat brush and load with Orange Sherbet mix to fill in the stripe and immediately remove the tape. Rinse brush.

7.If needed, transfer circle inside orange stripe onto crate. Using a #1 round brush, load with Pink Cadillac mixture, and fill in circles. Rinse brush.

8.Then use the #1 round brush handle end to dip into the Chartreuse mix to add tiny dots around the stripes and in each pink dot. Wipe off handle end.

9.Compete these details:

-Use the #1 round brush and load with the Lavender Fields to paint the top scalloped section on the crate. Rinse brush.

-Use the same brush and load with Coastal Waters mix to outline the scalloped top. Rinse brush.

10.CLICK HERE for the lettering pattern. Use painter’s tape for guidelines to help line up the lettering. Use transfer paper and pencil to transfer provided template.

-Use the #1 round brush and load with Cotton Ball to paint the words and squiggle on. Rinse brush.
