3 tablespoons WILTON Meringue Powder

4 cups (1 lb) sifted confectioners’ sugar

6 tablespoons water

DIRECTIONS

1.Beat all ingredients at low speed for 7 to 10 minutes using a stand mixer, or high speed for 10 to 12 minutes using a portable mixer, until icing forms peaks.

2.FOR THINNED ROYAL ICING: To thin icing for filling in, add 1 teaspoon water per cup of royal icing. Use grease-free spoon, or spatula, to stir slowly. Add water, 1/2 teaspoon at a time, until icing is proper consistency.
