Whimsy Santa’s Belt Mason Jar

Makeover your leftover mason jars with some seasonal sparkle when you create Whimsy Santa’s Belt Mason Jars.

YOU’LL NEED

Ball Regular Mouth Pint Mason Jars

Thick black ribbon

Recollections Adhesive Tape

Creatology 9”x12” Glitter Foam Sheets, Silver

Black cardstock

Hole Punch

Pencil

Ruler

Scissors

DIRECTIONS

1.Cut ribbon strips long enough to wrap around the mason jars.

2.Apply adhesive tape around the belly of the jar.

3.Wrap ribbon around the adhesive tape and smooth down. Secure the end with small piece of adhesive tape.

4.Draw a belt buckle shape on the back of the Silver glitter foam sheet. Cut out.

5.Peel off backing and attach the belt buckle to the center of the belt.

6.Remove the lid and separate the rim from the round top piece.

7.Trace the round top piece onto the cardstock. Cut out and discard the round top piece.

8.Punch a hole about 1/2“ from the edge of the black circle. Place inside the rim piece and screw back onto the jar.

9.Fill the jars with candy.
