Watercolor Resist Mitten Garland

Create a cozy winter mitten garland—it’s a DIY garland you can hang at home! White crayon resist art is magically revealed by using watercolors.

YOU’LL NEED

CRAYOLA Crayons

CRAYOLA Paint Brushes

Hole Punch

Cardstock

Disposable Cup

CRAYOLA Watercolors

CRAYOLA Scissors

Ribbon

Water

DIRECTIONS

1.Draw mitten outlines with white crayon on white cardstock.

2.Use white crayon to fill in the mittens with patterns, shapes, and designs.

3.Paint over crayon with watercolors to reveal the resist. Dry 1-2 hours.

4.Cut out mittens with scissors.

5.Punch holes on both sides of the mitten cuff.

6.String a piece of ribbon through the holes and trim to desired garland length.
