🧵You’ll Need:

  • Light brown felt
  • White felt
  • Red felt
  • Green felt
  • Black felt or small black buttons
  • Pink felt or pom-pom
  • White puffy paint or white paint pen (or white thread and needle for adult option)
  • Ribbon or twine
  • Fabric glue or hot glue (adult supervision)
  • Scissors
  • Black fabric marker

✂️ How to Make It:

  1. Cut the Shapes
    • Cut 2 mouse body shapes from brown felt, as shown.
    • Cut out 2 white circles for ears, a small white oval for the belly, and pieces for the scarf, mittens, and Santa hat.
  1. Add the Details
    • Glue on the ears, belly, scarf, mittens, and hat.
    • Add black eyes and a pink nose. Use the fabric marker to draw on whiskers and a smile. Add a white dot to each eye for a cute gleam!
  1. Create the “Icing” Look
    • Outline the body, ears, and limbs with white puffy paint or a white paint pen to mimic cookie icing. OPTION: Adult can also stitch white thicker thread around edges.
  1. Assemble
    • Glue the front and back body pieces together, sandwiching the ribbon at the top for hanging. Let everything dry flat.
  1. Hang and Smile
    • Once dry, hang your ornament on a tree, doorknob, or gift bag for extra Snowy-style holiday cheer!
