Sled Handmade Ornament

This sparkly Sled Handmade Ornament can be a fun project for playdates.

YOU’LL NEED

Creatology Craft Sticks

Markers, red, black and gray

Elmer’s Glue

Creatology glitter, red  and silver

Craft Smart Yarn

Crayola Markers

DIRECTIONS

1.Use a red marker to color the fronts and backs of three mini craft sticks and two regular craft sticks.

2.Use a grey or black marker to color the fronts and backs of two regular craft sticks.

3.Glue two mini red craft sticks on the ends of two regular craft sticks, making a rectangle. Next, glue another mini red craft stick about 1/2“ lower than the top of the rectangle. Let dry.

4.Flip over the glued craft sticks and place a line of glue on the outside edge of the regular craft sticks. Set the narrow side of the grey or black craft sticks on top of the glue line and hold in place for a minute. This will make the sled skis. Let dry.

5.Spread glue over the top of the red craft sticks until covered, and sprinkle with red glitter. Let dry.

6.Flip over the sled. Spread glue over the grey or black craft sticks and sprinkle with Silver glitter. Let dry.

7.Cut a piece of yarn about 6″ and tie a knot on the ends. Glue the knot to the back of the sled.

8.Take a photo of the child looking as if they are riding on the sled, and attach it to the back of the sled.
