Scavenger “Haunt”

Turn your backyard or house into a haunted adventure as your little ghouls follow clues to find treats. Ask a few family members to help the hunters along the way.

YOU’LL NEED
Black marker

Green marker

Orange bags

Your favorite Hershey’s Halloween candy

Hole punch

Green ribbon

Scissors

Orange and green construction paper

DIRECTIONS
1.Plot out your scavenger haunt indoors or outdoors with 3-5 spots where you’ll hide the clues. Write the clues on gift tags.

2.Assemble the clue bags with your favorite chocolate bars and candy. Use the black marker to draw fun, spooky faces on each bag. Punch a hole in the corner of the bag and your gift tag clue, then tie them together with ribbon.

3. Cut circles out of orange construction paper and write your clue numbers. Cut leaves out of green construction paper. Punch a hole in the top of the bag and through your clue numbers and leaves and attach with green ribbon.

4. Set the clues along your course and let the games begin!
