YOU’LL NEED
CRAYOLA Crayons
CRAYOLA Scissors
Duct Tape
Wooden Dowel
Clear Tape
Crayon Sharpener
Wax Paper
Hair Dryer *adult supervision
String
DIRECTIONS
1.Unwrap 4 to 6 crayons, then use crayon sharpener to create shavings.
2.Lay piece of wax paper on protected surface. Evenly sprinkle shavings onto wax paper.
3.Place slightly larger piece of wax paper overtop. Seal edges with duct tape.
4.With the help of an adult, use hair dryer to melt shavings. Let cool 15 minutes.
5.Cut raindrop shapes out of wax paper.
6.Tie piece of string onto wooden dowel.
7.Tape raindrops to string.
8.Repeat steps 6-7 until sun catcher is complete.
9.Hang and enjoy catching a sun shower!
