DIRECTIONS

.First, CLICK HERE to download and print the template; then cut out the shapes.

.Trace the turkey pattern onto mixed media paper. Paint the turkey brown/Cocoa Bean, or as desired. Let the paint dry, then cut out your turkey; set aside.

.Pour a small amount of paint from each bottle onto a paper plate (or paint palette). Secure a cotton ball (or pom-pom) in the end of a spring clothespin.

TIP: This will be your “paintbrush”.

.Dip the cotton ball (or pom-pom) into a paint and press it onto a clean piece of mixed media paper. Continue to do this with each paint poured onto your palette until the entire page is covered. Let dry.

.When your painted paper is dry, trace around the feather pattern five times and cut out each shape.

.Arrange and glue the feathers to the back of the turkey.

.Paint a 1/4 sheet of mixed media paper orange and a small area red so that you can cut out the feet and beak (orange) and the wattle (red). Let the paint dry, then trace the pattern pieces. Cut out and glue on to your turkey.

.Glue wiggle eyes into place.
