Mother’s Day Thumbprint Ornament

YOU’LL NEED

CRAYOLA Air Dry Clay

CRAYOLA Paint Brush

Rolling Pin

Straw

CRAYOLA Washable Paint

Wax Paper

Cookie Cutter

Twine

DIRECTIONS

1.On piece of wax paper, roll out medium-size air dry clay ball so its 1/2″ thick.

2.Press cookie cutter into clay to create ornament.

3.Use straw to make a hole close to top of ornament.

4.Firmly press thumb into middle of ornament twice to create heart shape. Dry overnight.

5.Cover ornament and heart with paint. Dry 1 to 2 hours. Add second coat. Dry 1 to 2 hours.

6.Feed twine through hole, tie ends into a knot, and give to mom!
