Folded Paper Candles are a fun way to celebrate a birthday.

YOU’LL NEED

Candles Pattern (CLICK HERE)

Computer

Printer

Pencil

Construction paper

Creatology Blunt Tip Scissors

Creatology Glitter & Sequin Glue

Creatology Assorted Cup Sequins

Jumbo Elmer’s Disappearing Purple Glue Stick

DIRECTIONS

1.First, CLICK HERE to download and print the folding diagram.

2.Cut two pieces of construction paper 1″ x 12″.

3.Follow the folding diagram to fold your two strips into the candle. Fold A over B, then B over A, then A over B and so on until you come to the end of the strips. Glue to bottom of the strips as shown in the diagram.

4.Cut out the template for the flame, then trace around it onto yellow or orange construction paper.

5.Fold the bottom of the flame and glue onto the top of the candle.

6.Glue a sparkly sequin to the flame and let dry.
