Staining a crate is a great solution to store warm blankets and pillows in your home. Wrap a piece of cable knit ribbon, then add a wood letter, for a cozy and inviting feel to your décor.

18″ Wooden Crate By ArtMinds
Multi Purpose Vinyl Gloves By ArtMinds
4″ Glue Sticks By ArtMinds
3M General Purpose Sandpaper, Assorted Grit
Low Temp Mini Glue Gun By Craft Smart
Loops & Threads Straight Scissors
Clean Cloth

DIRECTIONS

1.First, sand any rough areas on the wood crate lightly and wipe clean with a cloth.

2.Wear gloves to apply a coat of stain with a foam brush. Let the stain dry for one hour.

3.Wrap cable knit ribbon around the crate and use hot glue to adhere.

4.Place a wood letter over the ribbon and use hot glue to attach.
