Family Fishing Tradition

From CRAYOLA

If you like to fish, get crafty and make a Family Fishing Tradition 3-D triarama of your favorite fishing spot.

YOU’LL NEED

CRAYOLA No-Run School Glue
CRAYOLA Paint Brushes
CRAYOLA Model Magic
Newspaper
CRAYOLA Washable Paint
CRAYOLA Scissors
Recycled Materials

DIRECTIONS

1.With CRAYOLA Scissors, cut a recycled file folder into a square. Fold it in half point to point. Open and fold it in half the other way. Cut one fold to the center of your square. One of the sections along the cut edge will be the bottom of your triarama. The other will fold beneath it.

2.Cover your art area with newspaper. With CRAYOLA Washable Kid’s Paint and Paint Brushes, illustrate the background. Show the setting for your family business. In Newfoundland, fishing villages have a distinctive look. Fishing equipment dominates the scene

3.Add 3-D items to your scene with CRAYOLA Model Magic and collage materials. You might make lobster traps and nets spread out on a long pier. Or model fishing boats floating in the water. Attach your workers and their tools with CRAYOLA School Glue.

4.To raise the walls of your triarama, slide one flap created by the cut over the other flap. Secure with glue. Air-dry before displaying your triarama.
