DIRECTIONS
1.Remove and disassemble lid from mason jar. Pour paint on disposable plate and apply to inside of jar with sponge-tip brush.

2.Using window markers, draw bugs or fairies on outside of jar.

3.Outline bugs or fairies—plus add any embellishments—with glitter glue. Dry 3 to 4 hours.

4.If completing Bug Jar, cut tulle into a circle so that it fits inside the disassembled lid rim when flipped over. Line inner rim with glue, lay in tulle, and fully secure with paint brush end. Dry 1 to 2 hours.

5.Once dry, twist lid onto jar.

6.If completing Fairy Lantern, cut twine for lantern handle. Tie one end to disassembled lid rim, feed on beads, and tie other end to lid. Cut off any excess twine.

7.Twist lid onto jar and add tea light.

Enjoy the fun glowing mason jar craft at night!

TIPS:
Be inspired to make another type of mason jar lantern with other animals, characters, or designs!

In lieu of a tea light, battery-operated string lights can be used.
