A hare-raising DIY Easter decoration…create an adorable bunny jar (or multiple for a bunny family!) with this fun mason jar craft.
YOU’LL NEED
CRAYOLA Acrylic Paint
CRAYOLA Take Note Permanent Markers
CRAYOLA Glitter Glue
Mason Jar with Lid
Twine
CRAYOLA Paint Brush
CRAYOLA Model Magic
CRAYOLA No-Run School Glue
Disposable Plate
DIRECTIONS
1.Pour paint color of your choice and white paint onto disposable plate.
2.Mix paint together with paint brush to create pastel shade.
3.Cover mason jar with paint. Dry 1 to 2 hours. Add second coat. Dry 1 to 2 hours and add lid.
4.Draw bunny eyes, whiskers, and mouth with markers.
5.Add name to mason jar.
6.Shape Model Magic into floppy bunny ears, nose, and bow.
7.Add sparkly accents to Model Magic with glitter glue.
8.Glue ears to lid. Glue nose to face.
9.Wrap twine around neck of mason jar.
10.Glue bow to twine. Let Model Magic and glue dry overnight.
TIPS
-Create a whole fluffle of bunnies and include the name of ‘everybunny’ – one for each family member!
-Experiment with different Model Magic shapes by making an Easter chick mason jar.
