DIRECTIONS
- First, CLICK HERE to download and print the template; then cut out the pattern pieces.
- Paint a jumbo craft stick and set aside to dry: – Bunny: paint it with White paint – Chick: paint it with Soft Butter paint
- Trace the circle on white or yellow cardstock and cut out the shape. Set aside.
- Cut the larger bunny ears from white cardstock and the smaller bunny ear pieces from pink cardstock or cut the chick’s beak from orange cardstock.
- Glue the head (circle) to the craft stick, then glue on the other pieces. Let dry.
- Glue the wiggle eyes in place and let the glue dry.
- Now, create and attach your character’s features: – For the bunny, cut two pieces of white chenille pipe cleaners to about 2″ long and fold in half. Glue the folded end of each piece to his/her face where the nose will go, then glue on a pom-pom for the his/her nose. – For the chick, glue yellow feathers to the his/her head.
- Wrap a chenille pipe cleaner around the craft stick several times, just under the head, to make arms.
- Finally, draw details onto the bunny’s face with a black marker.
